This Course Covers
The course will cover in detail the applications of conducting Initial Verification and Periodic Inspections of electrical installations from a theoretical viewpoint. The course will improve candidates understanding in these aspects and ensure correct methods and procedures are applied when conducting inspection and test on site. The course covers the requirements for being able to inspect and test older electrical installations. The main points covered would be;

Exams and Assessments
Task A Visual Inspection [classroom-based assessment]
Task B Practical Assessment [observed practical assessment]
Task C Short Answer Paper [classroom based written exam]
Online multiple-choice exam [computer-based exam] 2 hr
Any subsequent resits will incur a fee.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is not suitable for learners with limited experience of working in the electrotechnical sector, or who do not already hold relevant Level 3 electrotechnical qualifications.
This qualification must not be taken by learners new to the industry who do not possess sufficient skills, knowledge, and experience to undertake inspection and testing safely and competently.
We cannot accept any registrations for candidates under 18 as these qualifications are not approved for under 18s.
ETT will complete an initial assessment after receiving a booking to confirm each candidates suitability.

What Next
