Bio: | PERSONAL PROFILE. I am twenty-two, hardworking and always keen to learn new skills. I left St Malachy’s College in 2018 with ten GCSE’s before attending St Mary’s Grammar School for year 6. At that time, I decided to leave full time education to explore the world of work. Since then I have held a number of part time and temporary jobs before commencing full time employment as a Butcher in B.Price Quality Meats, Crumlin which is my current role. I have a full clean driving licence and access to my own vehicle. My current role as a Butcher requires a comprehensive understanding of health and safety, hygiene and customer service. I have proven that I am an excellent timekeeper and reliable employee. I am often responsible for working independently as well as working collaboratively with my colleagues. I am a valued team member with strong transferable communication and listening skills. Outside of work on a social level I enjoy keeping physically active through regular attendance in the local gym, In the past. I have participated in a local youth group (The Bytes Project), whose aim was to bring communities together and help young people work towards OCN qualifications in the process. I have now reached the stage where I wish to invest in a long-term profession and build a strong foundation which I can develop from and excel. I believe that I can accomplish this through an apprenticeship opportunity as it will help me to further my education and to build on my skills and work experience to date. I am a mature, committed worker with a positive attitude and work ethic and I believe I would be a valuable asset to any team or company.
