Why should you attend an IOSH course at ETT?
Here are a few words from Nicola and some experts in the health and safety and healthcare field that may give you a little bit of incentive to join her on an exciting online experience with the Electrical Training Trust in 2021.
Quote from Nicola Penman
‘My health and safety vision is; to change perceptions of health and safety in the workplace. To influence and inspire employers and employees to play their part in ensuring everyone’s wellbeing at work and to encourage a completely holistic approach to managing health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace. It is not about what you can’t do, on the contrary, it is all about what you can do SAFELY, productively with sustainability.
Health and Safety training should be informative, interactive, motivational and fun. That is what I strive to provide on every course I deliver. I would like to provide that for you! But don’t just take my word for it. I gathered my courage and asked a few health and safety leading authorities what they thought of me and here is what they said’:
William McClintock – former HSENI Principal Inspector
‘During my thirty-five years involvement in health and safety at work, I came across many people at all levels in the workplace who were genuinely devoted to the advancement of health and safety at work. Nicola Penman certainly stands out among these people. Nicola’s enthusiasm for health and safety in the workplace cannot be overstated – especially her passion for the promotion of workplace health and in particular stress in the workplace’.
Mr Jim King, Chairman Waste Safety Industry Safety Forum, Northern Ireland
‘Fun, exciting, thoroughly professional and well researched. Some of the comments made after Nicola’s presentation at the WISHNI Ambassador Awards. These views reflect Nicola’s commitment to improving the well-being of people at work. Her heart for people who may be finding work life balance stressful, shows through in the verve with which she presents her chosen topics. Safety training is not a just a job for Nicola, it is a vocation’
Mr Lyle Dunn MIET MIFPO, Acorn Inspections
‘Nicola’s passion for the subject and her ability to communicate its intricacies in a concise and enthusiastic way are obvious. The remarkable thing is that she also has the rare and special gift of listening’.
Kieran McCormick, Director of Operations, Balmoral Healthcare
‘We were looking for motivational speakers for our 20th birthday conference. Nicola did not disappoint! She provided an excellent address to the 80 delegates who were in attendance. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone interested in promoting the well-being of their staff’.
We would be delighted to welcome organisations and individuals to one of our IOSH courses due to be delivered from January 2021. This is your opportunity to make a difference to the health, safety and welfare of people at work. Hoping to see you soon.
